THE EDWARD J. MALATESTA, S.J.
SCHOLARSHIP, was created
in honor of the Institute's founding director in recognition of his
contributions to Chinese-Western cultural exchange. The goal of this special
scholarship is to assist young scholars in China to complete their
dissertations or other advanced studies in Chinese-Western cultural history
particularly the history of Christianity in China.
